Albing International Marketing
Announces the publication of

MILLENNIALS At HOME...In The Kitchen

A comprehensive look at what the Millennial Generation wants today for the kitchen and what they will want for the future.  This study draws a "picture" of their current kitchens and what they will look like five years from now.  It is a follow up to AIM's 2010 landmark study,
MILLENNIALS At HOME.

What do Millennials think about the kitchen and cooking?

     * Cooking is a source of pride and independence for Millennials -
they love to cook, but only 45% consider themselves a "good cook."

     * They seek a "warmth factor" for the kitchen because it generates
fond memories of their parents' kitchens.  58% described their
dream kitchen as "comfortable." 43% said it would be "warm and
       cozy."

     * They want larger kitchens in the future, not to impress others, but
for practicality and better organization.  74% said that their
dream kitchen would have "plenty of storage."

     * Millennials spend hours online "crowd sourcing" recipes and
ingredients. 47% find recipes online.  Only 20% seek recipes from
       cookbooks.

     * The kitchen has become a masculine proving ground and, at times, a
battleground between the sexes. To Millennials, being a
well-rounded guy means knowing about food.

And there is so much more information in

Primary research for the study was conducted over the past two years and included online surveys of over 2000 Millennials as well extensive online focus groups and in-depth interviews across the US.

MILLENNIALS At HOME...In The Kitchen is an invaluable tool for anyone
whose business focuses on the kitchen.
